Julie J. Robertson
Chairman of the Board, President & CEO
Julie J. Robertson was named Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company in January, 2018. Previously, Ms. Robertson served as Executive Vice President of the Company from February 2006 and as Senior Vice President - Administration from July 2001 to February 2006. Ms. Robertson also served continuously as Corporate Secretary of the Company from December 1993 until assuming the Chairman’s role in 2018. Ms. Robertson has also served as Vice President - Administration of Noble Drilling from 1996 to July 2001 and as Vice President - Administration of Noble Drilling Services Inc beginning in 1994. From 1989 to 1994, Ms. Robertson served consecutively as Manager of Benefits and Director of Human Resources for Noble Drilling Services Inc. Prior to 1989, Ms. Robertson served consecutively in the positions of Risk and Benefits Manager and Marketing Services Coordinator for a predecessor subsidiary of Noble, beginning in 1979.
William E. Turcotte
Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary
William E. Turcotte was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Noble Corporation, effective December 16, 2008. He was named Corporate Secretary in January 2018. Prior to joining Noble, Mr. Turcotte served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Cornell Companies, Inc. since 2007. Before joining Cornell, Mr. Turcotte was most recently Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Transocean, Inc., where he worked from 2000 to 2007. Between 1992 and 2000, he served in various legal positions with Schlumberger Limited in Houston, Caracas and Paris, and prior to 1992, he worked as a legal associate in law firms in Mexico City and Houston.
Scott W. Marks
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Scott W. Marks was named Senior Vice President, Engineering effective January 2007. Mr. Marks served as Vice President — Project Management and Construction from August 2006 to January 2007, as Vice President — Support Engineering from September 2005 to August 2006 and as Director of Engineering from January 2003 to September 2005. Mr. Marks has been with Noble since 1991, serving as a Project Manager and as a Drilling Superintendent prior to 2003.
Robert W. Eifler
Senior Vice President, Commercial
Robert W. Eifler was named Senior Vice President, Commercial effective August 2019. Previously, Mr. Eifler served as our Senior Vice President, Marketing and Contracts from February 2019 to August 2019, and as our Vice President and General Manager - Marketing and Contracts from July 2017 to February 2019. Before that, Mr. Eifler led Noble's marketing and contracts efforts for the Eastern Hemisphere while based in London. From November 2013 to March 2015, Mr. Eifler worked for Hercules Offshore, an offshore driller, as Director International Marketing. Mr. Eifler originally joined Noble in February 2005 as part of the management development program and held numerous operational and marketing roles with increasing responsibility around the world until joining Hercules in 2013.
Barry M. Smith
Senior Vice President, Operations
Barry M. Smith was named Senior Vice President of Operations on June 3, 2019. Mr. Smith has over 30 years of experience in offshore rig operations and technical services. Mr. Smith was previously employed with Atwood Oceanics, Inc. beginning in 2006, where he held a number of operational positions until he was appointed Senior Vice President of Technical Services in 2015. Mr. Smith served in that capacity until October 2017, when the Company was acquired. He managed his ranching and other business interests from November 2017 until he joined the Company. Prior to Atwood and for over 20 years, Mr. Smith held various operations related roles with Transocean Ltd.
Laura D. Campbell
Vice President and Controller
Ms. Campbell was named Vice President and Controller on August 1, 2018. Ms. Campbell is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of experience. Before joining the Company, Ms. Campbell served as Assistant Controller, Policy and Corporate Reporting at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, a petrochemical company from March 2017 until July 2018. Prior to that time, Ms. Campbell worked at the Company from 2007 to March 2017, serving in the positions of Assistant Controller and Director of Corporate Accounting.
